430 Women Killed. Why!
A murder spree has been going on for a decade along the U.S.-Mexico border. Yet we have essentially closed our eyes and tried to shut ourselves away from the reality that our sisters are being murdered. Why? Simply because they are poor factory workers, disposable to all but their families who have been unable to rally the necessary support and help to stop the slaughter. Do not let this issue be forgotten. Join a letter writing comapaign at amnesty.org/women/juarez/
and read Teresa Rodriguez's book, The Daughters of Juarez.

By the Shores of Babylon We Wept - Clergy Sexual Misconduct
If you are reading this section you may have an interest in learning more about working to end violence against women.
The following resources are offered as a way to link you with some quality materials on clergy sexual misconduct. And because different forms of violence are so prevalent among women I have added some really helpful reading materials on domestic violence and sexual assault. I will continue to add to this list, particularly websites. So feel free to check it periodically.
Blessings! Qiyamah A.Rahman
